Healing the Wounds of Love from your family of origin with Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and Somatic Attachment, as taught by Diane Poole-Heller.
Somatic Attachment Workshops:
A 2 day transformational workshop that uses yogic tools and mindfulness practices to heal and restore the relationship with the authentic self. The workshop looks at the area of intersection between yogic insight and psychological learning about attachment and relationships and proposes tools and learning that uses both bodies of knowledge.
Early attachment patterns are learned in the family of origin with your parents, and they impact our relationships. The workshop aims to create awareness of these early childhood “family of origin” attachment patterns that play out in adult relationships. The workshop explores the use of Kundalini yoga and mindfulness practices, to increase awareness of how these deep inner patterns prevent us from loving deeply and openly without fear in our most intimate relationships. We are neurobiologically designed for Secure Attachment but the critical question is: How do we return there if we did not hit the jackpot by starting out with it in the first place?
“The good news is that we are all inherently hardwired to heal. We have an innate ability to overcome the effects of trauma, and unleash the core aliveness we all possess.” Diane Poole Heller
The distinctions between Secure, Avoidant, Ambivalent and Disorganised attachment styles are identified and specific Kundalini yoga kriyas and meditations will be given to deal with each attachment style.
Kundalini Yoga is a PROCESS YOGA. It reveals, through an exact format, states of body and mind that detract from a resilient and buoyant state of mental and physical health. Through these powerful techniques we restore a deep and enduring connection to the Authentic Self – the Ultimate secure attachment. In this totality, we love, give, serve, obey and excel in all our relationships.
The meditations, breathwork & postures have a magical efficiency that open up hitherto closed channels of energy. The practice of Kundalini Yoga increases the capacity for awareness of mental and physical states within the body. The practice of Mindfulness enhances and increases the impact of the Kriyas.
“Love is a strength…a goodness, like Godliness…no limit ..no shortage…no bargaining in it. .. it is an absolute one-pointed state of mind toward the well-being of the other person who is called lover or beloved…Love is a process in which ego is lost and infinity is experienced.” Yogi Bhajan
The lectures and kriyas from this workshop will be available online for sale soon.
